Roi Et campus

The academy is established on 19,200 square meters of land at Nong Pok Village in Thawat Buri District, Roi Et province. Since our campus is only 2 kilometers away from the Roi Et airport, our pilot students will be able to conveniently use the airport’s facilities. Our campus also focuses on incorporating highly experienced flight instructors as well as the latest aircrafts for the safety of the students. With our on-site classrooms, student dormitories, museum, music/karaoke room, fitness studios, flight planning room, auditorium, museum, car park, creative room and more, the livelihood of the students are well maintained.

Why we chose to be a boarding school?

WHY WE CHOSE ROI ET?

  • Roi Et is the chosen location because of its advanced technology at its airport as well as the capacity for training slots. Since the airport has 5 flights per day, the students can partake in several training slots without having to worry about its availability.
  • Roi Et holds easy access to airways, other controlled and uncontrolled area; which allows basic maneuvering and basic instrument flying training to take place.
  • Roi Et maintains navigation facilities such as ILS (Instrument Landing System), VOR (VHF omnidirectional range), NDB (Non-Directional Beacon) which will help the students learn hands-on systems that will be needed in their careers.
  • In order to fly safely, it is fundamental for the students to learn the appropriate horizon reference in the case that visual horizon is not available. We believe it is crucial to develop the student’s awareness of space and inertia while they are operating in a confined space using an imaginary horizon. Roi Et gives students the opportunity to be establish terrain awareness.
  • Roi Et’s weather, according to the Thai Meteorological Department’s statistics, is clear skies throughout the year with some rains during specific months.
  • By choosing Roi Et, the academy is able to establish modernized facilities, technology as well as the city life that will both increase the students livelihood and learning experience.

ICAO STANDARD

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) sets the standard that is accepted globally in the Aviation realm since it serves as the forum for cooperation in all fields of civil aviation among the 188 member states. Since it is crucial for regulations to be established to ensure safety, security, efficiency and professionalism, this global standard of flying is evident in how the school functions.

ICAO standard stated “students are being prepared for a lifelong career in aviation as pilots. Many of them may never have been away from home and family; yet after graduation their work may take them anywhere in the world, possibly for long periods. They should be prepared for the change of lifestyle and consequent problems which they may encounter as a result. This suggests that although the students must obviously be carefully supervised, they must be given a considerable degree of… freedom”

We understand that it can be difficult to adjust to a new school and new environment, however, our team highly prioritize the students’ livelihood and believe the facilities established will ensure that. The pilot students will not only learn to be independent, know how to work with others but will also feel secure and safe on our campus. We thrive to make give our pilot students the opportunity to grow and learn each day they spend with us.

The P2002JF is a two-seater side by side, low wing aircraft. The P2002JF features superlative performance and flying qualities, now confirmed by hundreds of P2002 ultralights, Light Sport and VLA aircraft sold throughout the world and validated in 15 countries other than Europe.

Many flight schools in Europe and all over the world rely on P2002JF (certified according to the CS-VLA and validated in several foreign countries) for students initial training. Many of them continue their training up to the ATPL with the Tecnam P2006T twin making Tecnam the ideal one-stop-shop for flight training aircraft all over the world.

The approval of this major design change by FAA set an important milestone on Tecnam’s “green transition” as the first worldwide General Aviation aircraft manufacturer able to obtain such a wide, flexible and non-single-brand related choice, as well as the first manufacturer capable of obtaining approval for use of automotive fuel on IO-360 Lycoming engine.
